Description

Product Overview

816296Q2 inline fuel filter elements screen fuel at 42 micron and push onto 5/16 in (8 mm) hose barbs. The two elements in the pack replace 35-879885T, 18-7718, 35-164941, 35-8162964, 33012 and 18-7830 on Mercury and Mariner outboards from 40 to 115 HP.

Key Features

42 micron media — catches the grit an inline filter is there to stop, on two-stroke and EFI four-stroke engines alike.
5/16 in (8 mm) barbs — pushes onto the factory fuel hose between the primer bulb and the engine.
Two elements per pack — one goes on the engine, the other stays aboard as a spare.
Plastic body — will not corrode in salt water or with ethanol-blend fuel.
Element only — no hose or clamps in the pack, which is what a service needs when the hose is already in place.
