Yes. The bowl uses the M80 × 2.5 thread used on S3213 and 245R series filter heads. It also fits Mercury 35-60494-1 and 802893Q01 water separating assemblies that take the S3213 element.

They fit different filter families. The R25T bowl fits S3213 and 245R series assemblies; the R12T bowl fits 120AT and S3240 series assemblies. The thread sizes differ, so the two bowls are not interchangeable.

Open the self-venting petcock at the bottom of the bowl by hand, let the water run out until fuel appears, then close it hand-tight. No tools and no bowl removal are needed.

The bowl is supplied on its own and reuses the existing O-ring. Inspect the ring first: if it is flattened, cracked or hardened, replace it before fitting the bowl, as O-rings are available separately.

Product Overview

The R25T clear water collection bowl is the replacement drain bowl for S3213 and 245R series fuel water separators, moulded in chemical-resistant clear nylon. It threads onto the existing filter head with an M80 × 2.5 thread and lets you see collected water through the bowl wall, so water is drained before it reaches the engine. The self-venting petcock in the base empties the bowl by hand — no tools, no disassembly.

One bowl covers 2, 10 and 30 micron elements, because the element seats in the filter head and the bowl only collects water and debris. Spare bowls are usually stocked wherever S3213 and 245R assemblies are serviced: outboard fleets, marine diesels and diesel-powered equipment.
