❓ FAQ

Yes. KF33518 matches the BFU 707 dimensions: 59 mm outer diameter, 13.3 mm inner diameter and 115 mm overall height. It drops into the same bowl with no adapter.

Both ends measure 13.3 mm inside diameter and the element is symmetrical, but the seal lands on the head side only, so fitting it inverted leaves the seal unloaded and the bowl will not hold pressure.

The Deutz reference is 116 0033 and the Iveco reference is 271 46000. The same element is also listed under Renault Trucks 08 54 806 000 and 40 33 158 110.

Yes. The sealing ring is supplied with the element, so the bowl can be resealed in the same operation rather than reusing the old ring.

Yes. Fill the new element and bowl with clean diesel, refit, then open the bleed screw on the filter head and crank until bubble-free fuel runs out before tightening it again.

Description

Product Overview

KF33518 is a cartridge fuel filter for Deutz, Deutz-Fahr, Iveco and Renault diesel engines. It measures 59 mm outside diameter, 13.3 mm inside diameter and 115 mm overall height, and drops into the existing filter head without adapters. The insert is supplied with its sealing ring.

Key Features

Cartridge format — only the pleated element is renewed, so the filter head, the bleed screw and the fuel line unions stay undisturbed during service.
59 mm outer diameter — matches the small bore head used on these engine families, so the element seats squarely instead of tilting and bypassing at the seal.
115 mm element height — reaches the bottom of the bowl so the full fuel column passes the media rather than spilling over the top.
13.3 mm inner diameter at both ends — seats on the head spigot and the bowl base spigot in one position, so the element cannot be fitted upside down.
Cellulose media rated for diesel — traps particulates down to the fine range and passes the flow a mechanical lift pump delivers at cranking speed.
